PATTERN PART 2

IMPORTANT PATTERN NOTE:

When I start a new round, I use a standing stitch however if you do not know how to make standing stitches you can replace the starting stitch with chains:

• Chain 1 replaces a single crochet.
• Chain 2 replaces a half double crochet.
• Chain 3 replaces a double crochet.

If you do not know how to make standing stitches, please refer to the abbreviations which will be found in the pattern preamble – I have added links to video tutorials.

Round 14

Using colour (PORCELAIN) start in any ch 2 corner.

*[Hdc, ch 2, hdc] into (corner) ch 2, fpdc around next 5 sts, bpdc around next 41 sts, fpdc around next 5 sts* rep *.* 3 more times , ss into 1^st st (10 fpdc, 41 bpdc per side)(hdc, ch 2, hdc per corner), cut yarn and weave in ends.

Total stitch count: 212 (excluding chains)

Round 15

Using colour (PURPLE HYDRANGEA) start in any ch 2 corner.

*[Hdc, ch 2, hdc] into ch 2, fpdc around next 6 sts, bpdc around next 41 sts, fpdc around next 6 sts* rep *.* 3 more times , ss into 1^st st (12 fpdc, 41 bpdc per side)(hdc, ch 2, hdc per corner), cut yarn and weave in ends.

Total stitch count: 220 (excluding chains)

Round 16

Using colour (PORCELAIN) start in any ch 2 corner.

*[Hdc, ch 2, hdc] into ch 2, fpdc around next 7 sts, bpdc around next 41 sts, fpdc around next 7 sts* rep *.* 3 more times , ss into 1^st st (14 fpdc, 41 bpdc per side)(hdc, ch 2, hdc per corner), cut yarn and weave in ends.

Using colour (TANZANITE) start in any ch 2 corner.

Helpful hint: refer to the stitch abbreviations in the pattern preamble if you do not know how to make a popcorn stitch.

Helpful hint: be careful not to miss the first stitch (hidden stitch).
