Lyn’s Rose Garden Pillow Part 6

Lyn’s Rose Garden Pillow Part 6

Lyn’s Rose Garden Pillow Part 6 is a free crochet along.

Lyn’s Rose Garden Pillow Part 6 is a crochet pattern to make a pillow covered in roses – some of the stitch work is easy, and some more challenging, but the end product is worth the effort.

Lyn’s Rose Garden Pillow pattern was especially designed for a very special friend of mine, who loves roses, any shade of pink, crochet, bubbly chocolate and yarn.  The pillow is a birthday gift for her, and although no longer a surprise, she will get it in November when it is her birthday.

STITCHING TOGETHER

The front and the back have a total of 98 sts per side, including corner stitches.  After you have weaved in all your ends, use a slip stitch to join the two squares together over your pillow using colour (C).

I slip stitched both sides together, and added tassels – you can do this or add pom poms, or even add a bit of a frilly border before you stitch together – use your imagination and have FUN with this project.

For the tassels, I cut 2 strands of each colour I used, about 25 cm in length, and folded them in two before threading to each corner.
